S1 Vienna Outer Ring Expressway, Section Vösendorf – Schwechat

Project description

The S1 Wiener Außenring motorway connects the A2 near Vösendorf with the A4 near Schwechat over a length of approx. 16.2 km. It was the first major project to be planned in accordance with the Environmental Impact Assessment Act. The road has two two-lane carriageways with parking lanes and currently has a traffic load of approx. 70,000 vehicles per 24 hours.
