Vienna South Freight Center (Inzersdorf Terminal)

Project description

A multifunctional freight center is being built on the outskirts of Vienna, in Inzersdorf, at the intersection of the S1 expressway and the Pottendorf Line. The freight center (Inzersdorf Terminal) has been designed to accommodate facilities for wagonload transport, combined transport, and contract logistics, including the necessary buildings, transportation infrastructure, and operational facilities. It will go into operation in 2016 and covers a total area of 55 hectares with a maximum handling capacity of 210,000 intermodal transport units per year.
