Project description

The flood protection project covers a total distance of 2km.

It was an exciting project with many technical challenges, as the Schwechater Werksbach had to be enclosed, which made three barrier structures and a mobile closure necessary.

The flood protection was funded by the province of Lower Austria and the federal government.
